    Amazing Thailand

"Sawatdee!" Welcome to our Thailand information. We are teenagers from Thailand
who want to show you about our country. On our web site you will find lots of information and pictures about Thailand. We are different to other web sites because we are not paid to say good things about hotels and tours. We just tell you the way we see it. If we think a place is expensive or somewhere is not worth visiting then we will tell you. The reason we are making this online guidebook, is that we want to show people how beautiful Thailand really is. Most people think about Thailand as having only drugs & girls. That's really NOT TRUE. Thailand is worth more than that. We have lots of very beautiful beaches, islands, views etc. We also have a very interesting culture. We have chatted on ICQ with some people who think Thailand is not safe but really our country is just as safe as other countries. We also have had lots of e-mail from people asking for pictures and information about places to visit in Thailand. All of this is why we are working on this web site. We can say in a short sentence: "We want to show the real Thailand to people around the world". We think it is working because people write to us saying that they now want to come and visit our country. We hope you enjoy all our fun hard work.

    Short Thailand Trip

Thailand travling trip: 13 days or 16 days: Beginning in bustling Bangkok we travel to the famous River Kwai, the ancient kingdoms of Ayutthaya and Sukhothai and on to the serene mountains, rivers, and hilltribe villages of the north. You have the option of escaping to the golden sands of Phuket at the end of your Thailand travling trip.

1 Arrive Bangkok and transfer to your downtown hotel. This evening get to know your tour leader and local guide during your town briefing and welcome drinks. The following day we will take a city tour visiting such sites as the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddha, mix with the locals on a ferry ride on the Chao Phraya River. In the evening, hunt for bargains at the famous night markets.

2 We travel directly to Kanchanaburi by bus and longtail boat. Visit an authentic floating market, Khao Bin Caves and stay overnight on a houseboat surrounded by mountains and jungle. The following morning we drive to Hellfire Pass and the Death Railway which stands as a moving monument to the POW lives lost in the World War II. Travelling by train we cross the bridge over the River Kwai. En route back to Bangkok we stop at Erawan Falls for a swim before connecting with our overnight train to Chiang Mai.

3 Today we visit the temple of Doi Suthep located in the mountains above Chiang Mai. Known as one of Thailand's most sacred temples it offers magnificent views of Chiang Mai below. In the evening, you may wish to enjoy a traditional northern Thai Kantoke dinner and dance or explore the town's exciting Night Bazaar.
